18th tile, ceramic, sanitary wares expo in Iran
TEHRAN, Dec. 11 (MNA) -- The 18th Tile, Ceramic and Sanitary Wares International Exhibition kicked off on Thursday at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds.
Some 54 foreign companies from countries such as Italy, Turkey, China, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as some 170 domestic companies have taken part in the 4-day event.
Annually some 320 million cubic meters of ceramics and tiles is produced in Iran. Some 30-35 million cubic meters of the mentioned amount is exported, while only 250 million cubic meters is being used domestically.
