(LEAD) Three crew members missing after 2 ships collide

GUNSAN, South Korea, Dec. 12 (Yonhap) -- Three crew members went missing Saturday
after a ship carrying sand collided with a fishing boat in waters off
southwestern South Korea, maritime authorities said Saturday.

The two ships collided around 8:10 a.m. about 24 kilometers southwest of Gunsan,
which is 274 km southwest of Seoul, the Coast Guard said. One person was rescued.
