Youth policy council

Astana, December 13 2009, Khabar - Representatives of state bodies and youth associations took part in a session of the Youth Policy Council under the President of Kazakhstan in Astana to discuss the most topical issues of youth policy. The sides considered three topical themes such as the results of the youth practice as part of the Road map programme, the current state of “The graduates to the villages” project and the implementation of the Zhasta-Otanga” programme. All these programmes should provide more jobs for young people and attract youngsters to the villages as well as supporting socially important ideas from young people.

Gabidulla Abdrakhimov, head of Prime Minister’s Office, council chairman:
- The head of state asked us to carry out the implementation of the Road Map programme in 2010 with over 1200 billion tenge allocated to the project. I think all ministries and governors should operate well.

Marat Orazayev, deputy minister for Agriculture of RK:
- Graduates to the villages” stipulates social support for youth. First of all, it is all about monetary support amounting to 90 thousand tenge. Second of all, they will be able to get a preferential 15 year mortgage loan with an annual interest rate of 0.01% with the purchased housing to serve as a deposit.
