YEMENI YOUTH AND SPORTS MINISTER VISITS BERNAMA

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 (Bernama) -- Yemeni Minister of Youth and Sports,
Hamoud Mohammed Ubad, visited the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama)
Tuesday.

During a courtesy call on Bernama general manager Hasnul Hassan, the
minister expressed interest in having closer collaboration with the news agency,
through Yemen's official news agency, SABA.

At the meeting, Hasnul welcomed Hamoud’s proposal for an exchange programme
between Bernama and SABA journalists.

Accompanying him during the visit was Yemeni Ambassador to Malaysia,
Abdullah Al-Muntaser.

Hamoud, who arrived here last Sunday, is on a five-day visit to Malaysia,
where he met Yemeni students.

There are over 3,600 Yemeni students pursuing studies in various public and
private institutions of higher learning in the country.
