Work to resume six-way talks on North Korea in progress - deputy FM.

MOSCOW, December 17 (Itar-Tass) - Work is in progress to resume the
six-way talks on the settlement of North Korea's nuclear programme,
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Borodavkin said on Thursday.
"North Koreans are commenting on that cautiously so far," the diplomat
said. "However, we as well as the others (participants in six-way talks)
have a bid to resume negotiations," he stressed.
In reply to a query whether there is a chance for a meeting of
participants in the six-way negotiations shortly, Borodavkin said "we are
working towards it".
"As North Korea has confirmed its commitment to the statement of
September 19, 2005, as well as confirmed it values six-way talks, there is
a chance. We will keep working," Borodavkin emphasized.
