YEMEN WELCOMES CALLS OF RESUMING PALESTINIAN DIALOGUE

SANA'A, June 8 (Saba) - Yemen has welcomed recent statements by officials of Hamas and Fatah movements to resume dialogue based on the Yemeni initiative and Damascus Arab summit resolutions. Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi stated to 26sep.net that Yemen welcomed the call of President of Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas for dialogue and welcome of Hamas for this call. Al-Qirbi wished the dialogue to be started as soon as possible and depends on the Sana'a deal that was signed between the two movements last March to end division between them. He affirmed that Yemen is ready to offer any assistance to bring the dialogue into success within framework of the Arab league and decisions of the recent Damascus summit.
