MONGOLIANS WIN MEDALS AT ASIAN SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Mongolian shooters have won medals in the Asian Shooting Championship that started December 17 in Doha city, Qatar. The championship is being attended by some 350 shooters of 25 countries including Mongolia's eight.
A sports master B.Bishrel won first medal, a silver, at the men's air rifle contest in the youths' division by collecting 692.7 points and following a Chinese (696.1 points). This contest's bronze medal went to Indian shooter.
An international master of sports O.Yanjinlham grabbed a silver at the women's air rifle contest in the youth division. She collected 394 points at the preliminary round and took 104.4 points or 498.4 points overall at the final round. She followed a rival from China who collected 501.7 points. A Malaysian won a bronze medal (497.7 points).
Another Mongolian E.Davaakhuu won a bronze medal in men's youth division at the air pistol contest.
