ABOUT VACCINATION


Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ As of present, 30 thousand dozes of vaccines against swine flu virus (H1N1) have been injected to pupils of 14 secondary schools in the city, said the "www.news.mn" website Monday.
The vaccines injected are the part of the 60 thousand dozes that are bought by the government from the "Monkhiin tum" company with money from the reserved capital.
Mongolia will receive 100 thousand vaccines late this week from the World Health Organization (WHO). Next 170 thousand dozes will be sent to Mongolia from the WHO in January. As a result, some 40 per cent of the population will be injected vaccines.
In connection with a spread in localities, a 30-bed hospital has been opened new in Arkhangai province to prevent and treat infectious diseases.
