PRINCE SALMAN CHAIRS MEETING OF COUNCIL OF RIYADH REGION

Riyadh, June 12 (SPA) - Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of
Riyadh region, chaired here on Tuesday evening the first meeting of
the third session of the Council of Riyadh Region

The participants of the meeting reviewed a number of topics
including the hike of prices in building materials, notably iron and
complaints of the contractors in this context as well as the impact
of the hike of prices on their activities.

The meeting was briefed on the efforts of the Commerce and Industry
Ministry to tackle these problems as well as the decision of the
Cabinet number 125, dated on 29-4-1429AH, approving the arrangements
made to guarantee the availability of the commodities and goods and
controlling the prices at the local market, and other related topics.
