AZERBAIJAN EXEMPLIFIES TOLERANCE IN THE WORLD
Baku, June 12 (AzerTAj) - “Azerbaijan exemplifies tolerance in the world�, said in her interview to AzerTAj correspondent Russian philosopher Tatyana Gurgo, who attended the international conference in Baku “Expanding the Role of Women in Cross-Culture Dialogue�. The various religious communities that have been peacefully coexisting in Azerbaijan played an invaluable historical role in establishment of calmness and the relations of friendship and fraternity.
The firm socio-political stability, civic solidarity, mutual respect between the ethnic minorities and the religious communities turned Azerbaijan into the country of tolerance in the world.
On active participation of Orthodox Christian community in socio-political life of Azerbaijan, she expressed her confidence that these communities will further do all the best in the name of progress and development of the country.
