CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF



Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Wednesday's cabinet meeting approved directives for Mongolia's delegation led by Yo.Otgonbayar, a Minister of Education, Culture and Science, that is going to participate in the second meeting of the Mongolia-India Joint Committee of Cooperation in politics and the sectors of economy, trade, sciences, technology and culture. This meeting will run January 11 in New Delhi, India.
In connection with spread of the swine flu virus (H1N1), the government decided to allot MNT two billion and 500 million from the reserved fund in order to buy 540 thousand dozes of vaccine from the Great Britain.
The cabinet considered a draft resolution on approval of the "Water" national program and decided to submit it to parliament. Moreover, the government made a decision to involve in special reserved areas mountains named Choiryn Bogd, Burdene bulag, Arvan Naimyn Bogd in Gobisumber and Dornogobi provinces; Delgerkhangai mountain in Dundgobi; places named Ongon tavan bulag in Sukhbaatar province, Baga gazryn chuluu (Dundgobi).
The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy D.Zorigt was allowed to pay working visits to Canada January 11-17 and to the USA January 17-20.
The Minister of Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar introduced implementation of the national programs named "Classic arts" and "Transferring the national heritage into digital system".
Minister of Environment and Tourism L.Gansukh was allowed to pay a working visit to the Republic of Turkey January 25-29. His directives will be approved by the Premier.
The cabinet discussed a draft product-sharing contract to be established between the Oil Authority and the Apexpro Investment Ltd Company. Then, the cabinet decided to introduce it with views of Ministers to the National Security Council.
