State President receives Cambodian Vice-Premier

(KPL) State President Choummaly Sayasone received at his office in Vientiane a courtesy call of a Cambodian high-ranking delegation led by its Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Hor Namhong.
Mr. Hor Namhong and his delegation arrived here on 5 January to attend the 11th meeting of the Laos-Cambodia and Cambodia-Laos Co-operation Commission to enhance the long-standing bilateral co-operation.
At the amicable talk, President Choummaly Sayasone and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hor Namhong highly valued the development of the traditional relations of friendship between Laos and Cambodia.
The Lao President said that the cordial solidarity between the people of Laos and Cambodia was of fraternity, neighbourliness and close manner. It was the solidarity that the people of the two neighbours have maintained since time immemorial.
Mr. Hor Namhong expressed pleasure and satisfaction with a warm hospitality given to him by President Choummaly Sayasone and praised the friendly relations and mutual assistance between the two states and people, which have been increasingly nurtured and developed.
On the same day, Mr. Hor Namhong and his delegation also paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh.
