MONGOLIANS TO SING LONG SONG IN VANCOUVER
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Mongolian creative artists will give a performance during art program for the 21st Winter Olympic Games that will be held February 12-28 in Vancouver, Canada, the "Onoodor" daily reported Wednesday.
The art program organized by Canada's "Red Sky" company will start February 22 and last for two months.
In frames of the program, a concert of world folk arts will be given. The Mongolians invited to perform are State Honored artist B.Tuvshinjargal; a singer of the Academic Ensemble of National Songs and Dance B.Batmend, and Morin Khuur (national musical instrument) player and khoomii singer (throat singing) B.Bat-Orshix. A concert with their participation is to be given three times in Vancouver's "Tono" theatre.
