M'SIANS BELIEVE GLOBAL EXPOSURE IMPORTANT, SAYS KELLY SERVICES

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 (Bernama) -- More than 90 per cent of Malaysian workers
believe the experience they gain in a globally oriented workplace is important
to their careers.

According to the latest findings from an international workplace survey many
believe they are not being adequately prepared to work with varied nationalities
and cultures.

Melissa Norman, Vice President and Country General Manager of Kelly Services
(M) Sdn Bhd said the survey found that the younger generation were driving the
trend toward globalisation.

The survey also revealed that in deciding where to work, the opportunity for
exposure to international skills or a globalised workplace was becoming more
desirable, especially for younger workers.

The survey obtained views of more than 90,000 people in 33 countries
including 2,000 across Malaysia.
