Iran able to daily export 10m liters of naphtha next year

TEHRAN,Feb.14(MNA)--Iran can export up to 10 million liters of naphtha per day in the next calendar year, which starts on March 20, the deputy oil minister said. Alireza Zeighami said that through implementing gasoline production plans which are underway in domestic refineries, the country will be able to produce 70 million liters of gasoline and export 10 million liters of naphtha per day. Last calendar year, Iran exported some one million tons of naphtha, he added. Zeighami said earlier this month that Iran’s gasoline production will rise next year by 18 million liters, or about 118,000 barrels, per day. The increase in output is expected after completing development projects at seven refineries, Zeighami said. Iran’s current gasoline output is about 60 million liters a day, while domestic consumption is some 59 million liters.
