Iranian ex-transport minister appointed oil tanker fleet director

TEHRAN, Jan. 31 (MNA) – Former transport minister Hamid Behbahani is appointed as managing director of the National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC). Iran currently has 49 oil tankers which carry 12 million tons of oil per day. Iran has the fourth largest oil tanker fleet in the world and it is predicted that it get the second place as 12 new tankers are expected to join the fleet.
