Lenovo Expands Thinkpad Laptop Series

KUALA LUMPUR, June 15 (Bernama) -- Lenovo, a global technology leader, has expanded its existing ThinkPad laptop series by unveiling the ThinkPad P51s Workstation. Its Malaysia/Singapore General Manager, Khoo Hung Chuan, said Lenovo always aimed to enhance its customer's experience and excite the market by introducing 'next level' products, complete with the most powerful operating systems. "The ThinkPad P51s Workstation is a great example of Lenovo meeting the evolving needs of our business customers through cutting-edge innovation," he said at the launch of the product here Wednesday. Khoo said the laptop featured a perfect blend of performance and functionality to run process-heavy software with the stability and speed that users required. "The workstation, developed with engineers and architects in mind, delivers first class systems in the thinnest, lightest frame possible, without compromising quality and reliability," he said. Khoo said the workstation would provide up to 17 hours of battery life, powered by Power Bridge Technology and comes equipped with a three-year warranty. The ThinkPad P51s, priced from US$1,644 (RM6,999), is expected to be available from mid-July at selected Lenovo authorised resellers nationwide. -- BERNAMA
