Putin says integration in interests of all members of Eurasian Economic Union

MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Integration is in the interests of all member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Russian President Vladimir Putin said at his annual news conference.
"To my mind, all the Eurasian Economic Union members benefit from what we do in order to develop cooperation between the countries," Putin said.
According to him, the member states have been facing various economic problems. In particular, in Putin’s words, Russia and Kazakhstan have some issues with Kyrgyzstan’s sanitary regulations. At the same time, the president noted that the sales of Kyrgyz goods in EAEU countries had been increasing.
"Moreover, the sales of Belarusian goods in Russia have very much risen. So this is a very important and useful process for all the Union members," Putin stated.
When speaking about cooperation development, the president noted that Russia had been assisting Kyrgyzstan in setting up a modern sanitary surveillance system. "We expect our Kazakh counterparts to help Kyrgyzstan, provide it with financial and administrative support so that no unchecked and dangerous products go on our markets," Putin said. According to him, this issue can be solved quickly enough.
