Bahrain-French cooperation discussed

Manama, Feb18(BNA) Council of Representatives President Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mullah has today received French Ambassador Bernard Régnauld-Fabre and stressed Bahrain's determination to pursue the reform and democratisation process. He affirmed resolve to optimise achievements in cooperation with the Government, in the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. "The Council of Representatives reflects willpower, being elected in free and fair polls", he said, reiterating Bahrain's keenness on bolstering relations with France, which he described as being strategic. The meeting was attended by Financial and Economic Affairs Committee Chairman MP Isa Al-Kooheji.
