Billiards and Snooker Federation Signs Sponsorship Contract with Qatar Airways

Doha, September 15 (QNA) - Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation (QBSF) announced today the signing of a sponsorship contract with Qatar Airways represented in "The Oryx" Services, to sponsor the Asian and international championships organized by the Federation consecutively until Sept. 21. The announcement came during a press conference held at Al Messila Resort on the sidelines of the current Asian Snooker Championship, attended by President of the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation Mohammed Mubarak Al Ramzani, President of the International Billiard and Snooker Federation Mubarak Al Khayarin, Director of the Asian Championship Mohsen Boukchisha and Director of "The Oryx" at Qatar Airways Angelica Fitch. Qatar is currently hosting three international, continental and Gulf championships in snooker and billiards, the ongoing Asian Snooker Championship which will conclude on Sept. 16, followed by the Six-red World Championship from Sept. 17 to 21, and the GCC Billiards and Snooker Championship from Sept. 22 to 28. QBSF President Mohammed Al Ramzani expressed his happiness with signing the sponsorship contract with Qatar Airways whereby the company will sponsor the Asian and international championships. Al Ramzani hoped that this partnership will continue in the future in the various tournaments organized by the federation during the coming period, in addition to supporting billiards and snooker players who participate in various foreign tournaments. President of IBSF and Executive Director of QBSF Mubarak Al Khayarin praised the partnership between the two sides, praising the efforts of Qatar Airways and its distinguished national role in sponsoring and making all sporting events hosted by the State of Qatar a success. For his part, the Director of the Asian Snooker Championship, praised this partnership especially that "The Oryx" Services as a leading in the field of hospitality in the world, noting that it has effectively contributed to facilitating hospitality and reception services for the delegations participating in the Asian Championship since their arrival at Hamad International Airport.
