CDS training courses highlighted

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): The Civil Defence School (CDS)'s Commandant, Colonel Abdulaziz Al Amer, affirmed the preparation and qualification of human resources to serve our beloved Kingdom, protect citizens and safeguard national capabilities and accomplishments from hazards are atop School's training priorities. The school trained more than 4,000 personnel in 2014 and up to April 2015 . Colonel Abdulaziz Al Amer lauded the school's diversify of training programmes, more than 250 courses and 60 lecturers in the same period. He commended the public awareness about training and its efficacy in warding off all sorts of hazards, accidents and reducing loss, impact of domestic fires. The school welcomes all citizens to train on safety and protection measures, usage of extinguishers, administering first aid, evacuation in emergency case(s), domestic and workplace safety, he said.
