Commander-in-Chief receives US Congress delegation

Manama, Mar. 30. (BNA) -- Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today a delegation of the U.S. Congress staff, currently on a visit to Bahrain. The BDF Commander-in-Chief reviewed joint cooperation and coordination, hailing the deep-rooted bilateral relations, growing steadily in all fields in order to upgrade cooperation in all fields, especially the military one. He wished continuous joint cooperation and coordination in carious matters to serve the best interest of both the countries. They discussed matters of common interest. The delegation was briefed on BDF's establishment stages, weapons, various military units and development during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dhiab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Director of Military Security Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Inspector-General Major-General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics Rear Admiral Yusuf Ahmed Mal-Allah, BDF Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources Major General Shaikh Ali bin Rashid, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Brigadier-General Ghanem Ibrahim Al-Fadhala, Director of Military Cooperation Brigadier-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Military Training Director Brigadier-General Salah Rashid Al-Saad were present.
