Farewell winter! Greetings spring!

TEHRAN,March 15(MNA)--The city is abuzz with excitement in the countdown to the Persian New Year, Noruz 1391 which coincides with Tuesday, March 20, 2012. People are busy with the last minute ritualistic shopping spree, revival of their homes and hearts as they join hands with their families and friends to welcome the advent of spring. In our last issue, we have a special interview with the eminent Iranian scholar Mohammad Mirshokraei about the social and cultural nuances of Noruz. Tehran Times will remain closed for a two weeks holiday and will resume work on the 13th day of the New Year (April 2, 2012).
