German Ambassador strongly condemns new acts of violence

Manama, Dec. 9. (BNA) -- German Ambassador to Bahrain Sabine Taufmann has strongly condemned the bomb attack in Damistan. In a statement issued today, she said, "I was deeply shocked when I learned about the senseless bomb attacks in Demistan and Karzakan that killed a policeman and a civilian." She offered "sincere condolences to the families of the victims." "Such acts of violence cannot be justified by any cause. Violence undermines ongoing efforts to overcome political tensions and rebuild trust and confidence necessary for preparing the ground for a sustainable reform process," Ambassador Taufmann also said.
