Greece inaugurates children’s digital library with Iranian books

TEHRAN,Jan.29(MNA) -- Greece’s digital library for children and young adults began its activity with a collection of books released by Iranian children’s publisher Shabaviz.
Iran’s Shabaviz publications has released seven books in English and Greek in that country which will be available for member visitors on the website of the library.
“Colors in My Poems” by Farideh Khalatbari, “The Earth” by Mahdokht Kashkuli, “Once Upon a Time” by Narges Abyar, “A Woodpecker who Became a Woodpecker” by Farideh Khalatbari, “Uncle Chain Maker” by Akram Qasempur, “We are for You” by Farideh Khalatbari and “Wedding” by Mohammadreza Shams are the e-books offered by Shabaviz for the library.
A total of 30 illustrations created by five artists in Shabaviz books will also go on display during an exhibition in Athens under the title of “Little Persepolis”.
Illustrations by Hafez Miraftabi for “The Dream of Wind”, Rajabali Khodaii for “My Sea”, Fereshteh Najafi for “Princess”, Marjan Vafaiian for “The Footsteps of Green Kids” and Hamidreza Akram for “What do you want Snail” will go on display at the showcase.
The library officials decided to add more translated books from Shabaviz on their website.
