HM King arrives in Riyadh

Riyadh, Apr. 16 (BNA): King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived here today on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during which His Majesty will hold talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Upon arrival in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, His Majesty was received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH Prince Meqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, HRH Prince Faisal bin Bander bin Abdulaziz Al Saud the Emir of Riyadh region, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince and Second Deputy Prime Minister cum Interior Minister; and, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Humood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. His Majesty the King shook hands with senior Saudi officials: HRH Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Minister of the Saudi Arabian National Guard, HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saudi the Deputy Foreign Minister, Dr. Massaad Al-Eban the Minister of State also Member of the Saudi Cabinet ; and, members of the Kingdom of Bahrain's Embassy in Riyadh. The Guard of Honour saluted His Majesty the King. His Majesty the King gave a statement in which His Majesty has expressed delight upon arrival to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and happiness to meet again with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. His Majesty said through this visit we reiterate our keenness on deepening the historic ties between our two countries and peoples bound by familial bonds, continuity of communication, embodiment of the mutual wish to develop and consolidate these relations which continue stronger and firmer as time passes, pushing with cooperation and development of coordination mechanisms in all fields to serve the common interests and fulfil the aspirations of both peoples for further development and growth. His Majesty said meeting our brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will be opportunity to exchange visions and viewpoints on current and latest developments in the region to reach sure frames and optimum means to confront the many threats facing our countries and boost their security and stability. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa hailed the efforts and initiatives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques which made the greatest effect in safeguarding the region from dangers, which reflect the leading role undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the critical regional situation.
