HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the newly appointed ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain

Manama, Aug. 22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the newly appointed ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Masayuki Miyamoto. His Royal Highness emphasised the strong bilateral ties between the countries, and commended Japan for its success in hosting the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games given the challenges presented by COVID-19. His Royal Highness then wished HE the Ambassador success in his new role before reviewing regional and international subjects of common interest. For his part, HE the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness's support of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa was also in attendance.
