HRH Premier: Bahrain at threshold of new phase of parliamentary work

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA)-- His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, members of the Representatives Council and senior officials. HRH said Bahrain is at the threshold of a new phase of parliamentary work in which the winner has always been the people of Bahrain. He congratulated the new members of the Representatives Council, wishing them every success in serving the nation and stressing the importance of a strong economy to achieve forecast political goals. HRH the Premier reiterated resolve to continue boosting citizens' welfare by further optimising housing, health and educational services. He also paid tribute to the Bahraini people for standing as a bulwark in front of attempts to undermine national unity.
