Iranian cartoonists win special prizes at Chinese competition

TEHRAN,March 1(MNA) -- Two Iranian cartoonists won special prizes at the 1st International Caricature Art Competition in China with the central theme of the legendary martial arts icon Bruce Lee. Nasrin Abdosheykhi and Farkhondeh Torkamani are the two Iranian prize winners, the competition website reported on February 2, 2012; the Golden Prize went to Allan Mcdonald from Canada. Catarina Oliveira from Portugal got the Silver Prize and the Copper Prize went to Alberto Figueroa from Spain. Cartoonists from different countries including India, Germany, Columbia, Brazil, Spain, Belgium and Russia were competing in the contest.
