Iranian filmmaker Musaian to make film on famine-stricken Somalia
TEHRAN,Dec.21(MNA) -- Iranian filmmaker Vahid Musaian’s next project will be a movie centering on the famine-stricken country of Somalia.
Entitled “The Fourth Child”, the movie tries to portray pain, and that not every individual can tolerate to see others experiencing pain and sorrow, Musaian told .
We will be making a trip to Kenya, Uganda and Somalia to find the proper locations within the upcoming days and to determine the exact date of shooting, he said.
Most of the filming will take place in Africa and only a small part of the story will be shot in Iran, he added.
Musaian, who is also producing the film, got the production license for his project from the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on Monday.
His latest film “Golchehreh” is currently on screen in Iranian cinemas.
“The Bright House”, “The Earrings”, “The Lost Land”, and “Silence of Sea” are some of Musaian’s productions.
