Iranian institute to award children’s books in foreign languages

TEHRAN,Feb.21(MNA) -- The Havva Literary Agency plans to hold an award ceremony for children’s books in foreign languages. Havva is an Iranian institute that provides marketing services for Iranian foreign language publications in other countries. The institute also enters into talks with foreign companies in order to convince them to publish Iranian works. Winners will be presented with Havva Awards in the categories of theme, illustration, design of cover, and design of book, Havva Managing Director Ali Kashefi Khansari told on Monday. A group of Iranian and foreign experts will select the winners, which will be announced in summer, he added. The group will also honor the company selected as the best publisher of the year. The Havva Awards are aimed at promoting worldwide publication of Persian children’s books in other languages.
