Iranian theaters’ lineup for Noruz announced
TEHRAN,March 12(MNA) -- Iran announced the movie schedules for national premieres on Sunday during the Noruz holidays, which will begin on March 21.
Political movie “Golden Leashes” and social comedy “The Guidance Patrol” are among the five premieres of the Iranian New Year.
Abolqasem Talebi’s “Golden Leashes” is about the unrest that erupted after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was declared the winner of the June 12 presidential election in 2009.
Amin Hayaii, Mohammadreza Sharifinia, Hamidreza Pegah, and Mahmud Azizi are acting in “Golden Leashes”.
“The Guidance Patrol” by Saeid Soheili narrates the story of three young men living in the southern district of capital Tehran, who take a risk to gain some money.
Hamid Farrokhnejad, Pulad Kimiaii, Jamshid Hashempur and Niusha Zeighami are among those starring in “The Guidance Patrol”.
Other Noruz screening opportunities are “The End of the Eighth Street” by Alireza Amini, “Personal Life” by Mohammad-Hossein Farahbakhsh, and
“Fitileh and Mahpishuni” by Arash Moayyerian.
“The End of the Eighth Street” tells the story of Nilufar and her family who are obliged to collect a large sum of money within three days, but as hours pass by, Nilufar finds out she has to deal with a new fate.
Ebrahim Kiani and his efforts to hide the secrets in his life put him in a very bad situation in the movie “Personal Life”.
Farhad Aslani, Hanieh Tavassoli, La’ya Zanganeh and Saeid Nikpur are starring in this movie.
“Fitileh and Mahpishuni” is a movie about children starring the Fitileh Uncles, a popular Iranian troupe that performs for children (Mohammad Moslemi, Ali Forutan and Hamid Goli) as well as Ahmad Najafi and Sirus Gorjestani.
The films will hit the theaters on March 15.
