Pakistani voice actors dubbing Iranian productions for Urdu speakers

TEHRAN,Feb.9(MNA) -- A group of professional Pakistani voice actors are dubbing an Iranian TV series and two telefilms, which will be broadcast by the Urdu service of Sahar, an international Iranian TV network. The TV series “The House without Birds” along with the telefilms “Bitter Soup” and “Main Reasons” are prepared for dubbing in Pakistan, the head of Urdu department of the Sahar TV Davud Eskandari mentioned in a press release. The text of the films is translated into Urdu and a group of professional dubbers are selected for doing the project, he said. He said that the Urdu department of the Sahar TV has also different dubbing groups in Tehran, Qom, Bombay and Karachi staffed by veteran voice actors and a group is also forming in Zahedan. The 32-part “The House without Birds” which was aired on the Tehran Channel is a family melodrama. The series narrates the life of a 27-year-old girl Maliheh who becomes separated from her parents during the Iran-Iraq war (1980-88). After finding her parents, her returning to their home changes the life of the elderly couple. Ronak Yunesi, Ahu Kheradmand, Saeid Nikpur, Mina Noruzi, Esmaeil Khalaj, Kazem Afrandnia and Kamran Foyuzat are the members of 80-member cast of the TV series. “Bitter Soup” is produced by the Channel Two and is directed by Hossein Qasemi Jami which features police operations in search of drug traffickers. Another telefilm “Main Principle” directed by Kazem Masumi narrates the financial partnership of two friends one of them is murdered during a struggle. Azadeh Samadi, Jafar Dehqan, Sadreddin Hejazi and Mir Taher Mazlumi are among the cast of the film.
