Royal Court Minister receives ECSSR Director-General

Manama, Apr. 1. (BNA) Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today the Director-General of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) Dr. Jamal Sanad Al-Suwaidi, who presented to him a copy of his book "The Prospects of the American Era .. Sovereignty and Influence in the New World Order." The Minister welcomed Al Suwaidi, and praised his outstanding efforts in compiling the book representing a great value for researchers in strategic studies. They discussed the recommendations of the Bahraini-UAE seminar on media cooperation in light of the challenges facing the Arab region, organised by ECSSR in collaboration with the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA). The Minister praised the seminar reflecting the strength of the deep-rooted bilateral relations. He reiterated that this seminar represents an important step towards unifying the Gulf's media efforts so as to contribute to the progress and development of media march in the Gulf.
