Zurich gallery to mount works of Iranian painter

TEHRAN,Feb.21(MNA) -- Paintings created by Reza Derakhshani will go on display during an exhibition at the Kashya Hildebrand Gallery in Zurich. The showcase entitled “Every Day and Every Night” will be held at the gallery from March 29 to May 26. Kashya Hildebrand founded her gallery in Geneva in 2001. Since 2004, the gallery has been located in the center of Zurich featuring a large exhibition space. The main focus of the gallery lies in its dedication to the support and representation of an international group of young, emerging artists through solo and group shows. Derakshani’s passion for beauty and his nuanced perception of the light and dark of the world has found expression in many different forms, from music, graphic design, book illustration, film animation and calligraphy to studies in traditional and western classical visual arts. Derakhshani has held numerous exhibitions in Tehran, London, Rome, New York, Paris, Geneva, Mexico, Austin, Seattle and Los Angeles.
