Kyrgyzstan to start COVID-19 vaccination on March 29

Bishkek, March 25, 2021 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Health and Social Development OF Kyrgyzstan will begin the first stage of coronavirus vaccination on March 29, 2021. The press service of the ministry said that the vaccination is double, with an interval of 25-28 days. Vaccinations will be carried out on a voluntary basis. Currently, a process of approval by the Scientific and Technical Group of Experts on Immunization (STGEI) of documents for the vaccine is underway. In all regions of the republic, there are trainings for medical workers on the organization of the vaccination. The start-up phase of vaccination will begin in Bishkek, Osh and Chui Oblast. At the 1st stage, it is planned to vaccinate: medical workers with a high and very high risk of infection, working in the red zone, family medical gropus; medical workers of emergency ambulances, intensive care units with a high risk of developing severe forms of illness or death; employees of educational organizations, employees of law enforcement and security agencies. Kyrgyzstan received Chinese Sinopharm vaccine on March 19 as a humanitarian assistance. More than 12 million people have been vaccinated with this vaccine in 65 countries, such as China, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahrain, etc. No side effects have been reported after immunization with the Sinopharm vaccine.
