Abdullah bin Zayed meets Nepalese Foreign Minister

KATHMANDU, 12th May, 2016 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has met with Kamal Thapa, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Nepal, in the capital, Kathmandu. During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and his Nepalese counterpart discussed ways of developing relations by embracing new avenues for cooperation and partnership opportunities between the two countries in various sectors. Both sides also exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest between the two countries, as well as current regional and international developments. Sheikh Abdullah hailed UAE-Nepalese relations crediting the support and keenness of both countries' leaderships for promoting and developing mutual relations in various fields. During the meeting, the Nepalese Foreign Minister welcomed Sheikh Abdullah and his accompanying delegation, wishing him a successful visit that would further promote bilateral cooperation between the two countries to serve the common interests of their people.
