Ambassador to Cuba visits University of Havana

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Cuba Wednesday legged the University of Havana, and met Dr Gustavo Cobreiro Suarez, rector of the university; and Ms Magda Luisa Rivera, chair of the external relations division of the university. Dr Suarez briefed about the university, emphasizing that the University of Havana established on September 21, 1728, is the very first university in American continent. He also talked about the university’s history and current activities. The Ambassador got familiarized with the university’s faculties of laws, philosophy and mathematics, and then legged the university’s library. He exchanged views with the university’s authorities about a possibility of setting up cooperation between the Mongolian State University and the University of Havana.
