Ayatollah Alamalhoda to principlists: Avoid separate list of candidates

TEHRAN, Jan. 31 (MNA) - Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Alamalhoda warned that if principlists present separate list of candidates in the March parliamentary election it will leave an “irreparable damage” on the principlist camp. “Presentation of different lists (will) leave an irreparable damage on maximum unity of principlists,” Alamalhoda said. “What has come to help of the Iranian nation in sensitive and crisis situations is ‘unity and unity and unity’.” The ayatollah also pointed to oil sanctions against Iran and said, “The U.S. and its allies seek to destroy Iran’s economy in order to weaken people’s spirit with repeated sanctions.”
