Azerbaijani ambassador to Iran visits press fair in Tehran

Iran, Tehran, Oct. 30 / Trend T.Jafarov / Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Iran Javanshir Akhundov on Sunday visited the Azerbaijani stand at 18th International Exhibition of the Press and News Agencies in Tehran. After meeting with the Azerbaijani delegation, Ambassador get acquainted with displayed material. The Ambassador called the material seen interesting and worthy of attention, and assured that the Embassy is ready to render any assistance to journalists. Answering a question by Trend correspondent, the ambassador said that relations between Iran and Azerbaijan are at a high level. The Ambassador mentioned that the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran are to meet in November in Nakhchivan, and stressed the meeting's importance. "The holding of this meeting shows to the world the sincerity of relations among the three brotherly countries, and is an important step to establish peace and stability in the region", said Akhundov. The ambassador also said that a meeting of the three countries' deputy foreign ministers is scheduled in Nakhchivan before the foreign ministers' talks. The meeting will prepare documents for the meeting of foreign ministers. Akhundov didn't tell the date of upcoming meetings. The ambassador has also met with representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran and visited the Turkey's stand. The 18th International Exhibition of the Press and News Agencies opened in Tehran on October 25. The exhibition will end on November 1.
