Border service: Uzbekistan does not violates Kazakh air space

Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Feb.23 / Trend D. Azizov /
"The State Border Protection Committee of the National Security Service of Uzbekistan (SBPC NSS) officially states that no unmanned, manned aircraft of the Air Force, as well as other operational search anti-aircraft means of Uzbekistan have been used on the Uzbek-Kazakh state border," the State Border Protection Committee's press release says.
Earlier Kazakh TV channel KTK reported with reference to informed sources that drone crossed the state border and headed far inland Kazakh territory. According to the KTK, the drone was in the Kazakh air space for about fifteen minutes.
Official representative of Kazakh Foreign Ministry said the country's border guards visually recorded violations of the country's airspace by drone. He said official information on this incident is sent to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
"Kazakh media report about the violation is unverified and untrue," the State Border Protection Committee said in its press release.
"Report on Today.kz website about the alleged violation of Kazakhstan's airspace by the Uzbek side is also not true," the press release says.
