Certain people have ‘mischievous’ plans for polls: Iran`s GC chairman

TEHRAN, Jan.4(MNA) – Guardian Council Chairman Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said on Tuesday that certain people have “mischievous” plans for the March parliamentary elections and are making preparations to take advantage of the situation to foment unrest. He also said that the Guardian Council is closely monitoring the activities of parliamentary candidates, adding that the council will take into consideration certain candidates’ huge expenditure on electoral campaigns in the process of vetting them.
