Chinese official to visit Tehran for nuclear talks

TEHRAN,Feb.12(MNA)--China’s Assistant Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu will arrive in Tehran on Sunday for nuclear talks with Iranian officials, Reuters reported. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin told a regular news briefing on Friday that Ma will “have a further exchange of views with Iran over its nuclear program." Liu reiterated his country’s position that dialogue is the only viable solution to end the nuclear dispute between Iran and the West. "We have consistently advocated dialogue and cooperation as the only proper channel for resolving the Iran nuclear issue," Liu said.
