Coalition of Inclusive Principlists releases candidate list in Iran

TEHRAN, Feb. 19 (MNA) – The Coalition of Inclusive Principlists on Sunday released the list of its candidates for the March 2 parliamentary election. Hassan Ghafourifard, a former presidential contender, is on the top of the 21-member candidate list. Some of the candidates are sitting MPs Ali Abaspour Tehrani, Hamidreza Katouzian, and Ali Motahari who are campaigning under the banner of “voice of nation”. Cleric MP Mesbahi Moqadam, a candidate of the United Front of Principlists, is also included in the list. Political analyst and university scholar Hassan Lasjerdi, former ambassador Hossein Sheikholeslam, and former chairman of the Iran Chamber of Commerce and Industries Ali Naqi Khamoushi are also on the list.
