Iran denies claim it sends weaponry to Syria

TEHRAN, Feb. 26 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ramin Mehmanparast rejected on Saturday as “a sheer lie” the claim that the Islamic Republic had furnished the Syrian government with weaponry. He said that the Islamic republic of Iran condemns any kind of foreign intervention in Syria and supports any kind of reforms in the country which is to the benefit of the whole nation.
