Iran University of Science to establish nuclear physics faculty

TEHRAN, Feb. 20 (MNA) -- The Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) decided to establish a faculty of nuclear physics, IUST Chancellor Jebel Ameli announced on Sunday. The decision was made at a ceremony held by the university to commemorate the fortieth day since Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan, an official at the Natanz nuclear enrichment facility, was martyred in a terrorist attack in Tehran on January 11. IUST students and professors had signed a petition calling for the establishment of the new department and presented it to the chancellor at the ceremony, and he accepted the proposal.
