Iran, Zimbabwe ink defense cooperation deal

TEHRAN, March 13 (MNA) – In a meeting in Tehran on Tuesday, Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi and his Zimbabwean counterpart Emmerson Mnangagwa singed a defense cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the two countries plan to promote cooperation in the area of security and defense. During his four-day visit, Mnangagwa also met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and held talks on various issues, including the latest developments in the region and the world.
