Iranian EC chairman lauds massive voter turnout

TEHRAN, March 4 (MNA) – Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani praises people’s massive participation in the parliamentary election, calling the Iranian nation prudent, religious, and loyalist to the Islamic Revolution. Rafsajani who was talking at a meeting of the Expediency Council on Saturday also said, “We hope the result of the election would lead to a good and united parliament so that we witness more progress, sustainable development, and stability and calmness for the country.”
