Iranian Majlis speaker congratulates new Uruguayan parliament speaker

TEHRAN,March 7(MNA) – Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani sent a message to Jorge Orrico on Wednesday congratulating him on his election as the parliament speaker of Oriental Republic of Uruguay. In the message, Larijani expressed hope that the relations between the two countries would increase during Orrico’s tenure. He also emphasized the role of parliamentary cooperation in cementing relations between the two countries and said that Tehran is keen to promote cooperation with Montevideo in all spheres.
