Iranian minister says 14% of parliament candidates are reformist

TEHRAN, Jan. 18 (MNA) – Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar announced on Tuesday that 14 percent of the candidates, who have registered for the March parliamentary election, are pro-reform figures. He also said that 34 percent of the candidates are principlist, 23 percent are independent, and 29 percent are affiliated with newly emerged political groupings.
